A little about me
I’m Anas, a self-taught UI/UX designer based in the Netherlands. I’ve been learning by making things for more than ten years, mostly around apps and the small details that make them easier to use.
Most of what I know has come from making things, trying things that didn’t work, and going back to fix them. I like taking an idea from a rough first screen to something that feels clear and considered.
When I’m not designing, I’m usually in the kitchen making pasta or some kind of rice dish. It’s a nice excuse to step away from a screen and make something with my hands.
When I design an app, I’m thinking about the whole journey, not just whether one screen looks good. I want the next step to feel obvious, the important things to stand out, and the experience to hold together from start to finish.
I’m also working on Mawrid, a project for Muslims who want to learn from trusted scholarly sources without having to be fluent in Arabic. The goal is to make that knowledge easier to access and understand in everyday life.
